Vertigo and the Lack of City Lights
Browsing articles by Cameo - [previous] :: [next]This past august, I had my first opportunity to escape the bright city lights for the first time in ages. These pictures were all taken aboard a 12m sailing boat. We were anchored just off of hope island, which has a small sandy bay perfect for anchorage. It's near the north-east corner of Georgian Bay just north of Cristian Island. It was absolutely stunning night sky that evening but alas, taking night shots from an anchored boat that size would be absolutely useless. I was limited to hand-holding and no matter how hard I tried, the meteor shower that evening did not turn out. lying on the deck looking up the mast: sunset over the water: Moonrise: This article has been viewed 1657 times in the last 2 years Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 12th Sep 2006 - 14:34 GMTVery, very cool pics.
