the queen mary once berthed here. these old piers can tell a lot of stories of life in the greatest city in the world.

I'm gonna guess the background is Hudson County, New Jersey.

I just looked it up on Google Earth. My current guess is that the right side is West New York, and the left side foreground is Weehawken, and the apartment blocks are in Union City, behind Weehawken. I'm unsure if anything in North Bergen is visible in this shot.
