Replacement

It appears that the graffiti in EvilGentleman's post has been replaced by some something new and flashier:

Today was a pretty crazy day. It started when my roommate took me to Chinatown to show me where to get cheap tofu and a redicilous amount of noodles for only $4.50. We came home and I took off on my bike. It took me awhile but I finally figured out how to get out og my neighbourhood while avoiding . I then ended up at Saint Joseph's Oratory where I took my self for a tour (pictures forthcoming). After leaving, I soon found myself on Decarie (where this post came from) so all my efforts were in vain. I made it to Sherbrooke and enjoyed a burrito, scaled a roof of an old building nd searched for a dollarstore or hardware store where i could buy a hammer. I finally foind on on St-Catherine near this place. I drove my bike some more where I found a Ford auto show. After leaving there, I went to an outdoor punk concert on St. Denis where I had seen fire spinning and free films the night before. I then went to watch an ourtoor movie in front of the Museum of Contempory Art but was too cold, so, exhausted, I struggled to get my bike on the metro and came home. All in all, it was quite a day for someone who has no friends in a new city!

If this doesn't make any sense, it's because I didn't proofread it. I'm going to bed!

and the guy was just then installing the railing? there is no railing in evilg's photo, you know.

EvilGentleman: 25th Aug 2006 - 08:40 GMT

Actually, that is a railing that was installed on the sidewalk to enclose an additional sales area for the Afican Art store that is there. They also painted "their" section of the sidewalk green. Apparently, they have done this in other years as well, but were late putting it in this year, or at least that is how I understood it when I asked the lady working there why I did not remember seeing that railing the week before. This was about 3 days ago.

I never thought to look around the corner to check on the graf, since I arrived from the other direction.

EvilGentleman: 25th Aug 2006 - 08:41 GMT

I would also say that this graf is definitely a contract piece done to beautify the side of the building. Looks like they are sprucing the place up a bit.

Sirhcbre: 25th Aug 2006 - 13:18 GMT

Yeah, a lot of work is being done to that place. In the picture above, he is installing new tile to the front of the store.
