Baie d'Urfe is a quiet residential community located west of Beaconsfield. The population is quite affluent, especially along the lakeshore, where many magnificent estates can be found.

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
Population - 5062

Located at the western end of Montreal Island, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (Sainte Anne's to the locals) has been an important crossroads in Canada's early river-based transportation for over 300 years. The town is a popular tourist destination, due to the waterfront shops and the locks that permit pleasure craft to enter the Ottawa River from the Saint Lawrence. The locks are a National Historic Site, and are well-maintained. Sainte Anne's is also home to John Abbott College and the MacDonald Campus of McGill University, so there is a very large student population.

Senneville
Population - 980

Located just north of Sainte Anne's, Senneville lies on the shore of the Lake of Two Mountains, which is part of the Ottawa River. Senneville enjoys the highest per capita income on Montreal Island, and is a very quiet, private place with narrow roads designed for local use only, with the exception of the Trans-Canada Highway, which passes through Senneville and across the lake to the rest of Canada.
