3+ years later: when I see these images I can't help think it was my sad attempt to shoot like Hool.

i think imitation of a 'style' is a good way to learn anything. if it inspires you. if it drives you, then where's the harm in that. of course, you will always fail in your imitation but hopefully develop a style of your own along the way. as you have done.

a.k.a. we've all try to shoot like hool ;-)
