Tall Man on the Prarie

- Tyfoid Kid - Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006 : goo

Rising up from the plains west of downtown Minneapolis.

There are several sculptures on the General Mills corporate campus and from what I could tell you can wander about and look at them (I did not see any "No Trespassing" signs.)

and across the street they have deeded some land over to the state for a permenent nature preserve.

It's pretty nice considering it's in the armpit of two highways.

Chris Erb: How big is the "tall man"?

Tyfoid Kid: 22nd Aug 2006 - 14:57 GMT

40 to 50 feet tall, probably 25 feet wide at the base.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: It's very Magritte.
