In the interests of the preservation of the prevalent pedanticism which we have been previously predisposed to possessing, I should perhaps politely point out that "Antarctica" has a "c" in it, positioned between the "r" and the "t". Furthermore, polar bears (Ursus Maritimus) are native to the Arctic. Antarctica has no known land mammals.
Nice story, by the way. Antarctic explorer, Vietnam vet, fashion-conscious bon-vivant man about town, jungle lord of the land of tigers, deep-sea diver of the South Pacific, even reaching a depth of 360 feet clad only in a speedo. Jack can rival Dirk Pitt for adventure. Who woulda thunk?
