chiamattt: I like your photos. Thanks

You're welcome, and thank you, too. Your Korean photos are quite impressive, especially the ones taken in markets.

Chris Erb: Whereabouts is this?

anon (net084-012.host.partnersolutions.ca): 7th Aug 2006 - 21:42 GMT

there are better sites to shoot in Montreal than these. Try using a little imagination.

Chris - Sainte-Catherine near Lambert-Closse, except picture 4, which is down the street at the corner of St-Marc.

anon - I am for the most part still experimenting with shooting people in an urban setting. I rarely go out specifically to shoot pictures, but I always take my camera with me just in case I feel like taking a few shots here and there. The concept is called reality, and my reality is that I hang around the west end of downtown. I attend Concordia and most of my fellow natives hang out in this area as well, so this is where I often am when the urge to shoot a few frames comes over me. I am not out to define Montreal to the world, I am merely sharing some photos I have taken with the community here at citynoise. I will get around to the good areas one of these days, but all in good time. If you only want the best shots of Montreal, might I recommend Webshots or National Geographic? Or go take your own and post them here. New contributors are always welcome here.

chiamattt - classic retort, I love it! Touché, touché.

St Peters Close, Yes He Is

i like this church. it looks like it is made of rotten potatoes, but it isn't really. it's flint. unusual to see flint in the city, more of a country cottage thing.
