Here is the counterpart to

We are always quick to criticize cops who abuse their positions of authority, but what about those who truly do help to make our lives safer and better? It is only fair to voice the positive things about cops as well.

GOOD COPS

1 - All 23 NYPD Police Officers and 37 Port Authority Police Officers who gave their lives while trying to save people in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Alongside them are the 343 FDNY firemen and paramedics who gave their lives for the same reason.
2 - Any other cops who have given their lives in the course of their duties
3 - Cops who treat all people in a fair and equal manner
4 - Cops who have always have good manners unless under attack
5 - Cops who take the time to develop positive relations in the neighbourhood
6 - Cops who actually listen to both sides of a dispute before arresting someone
7 - Cops who treat all calls as important, no matter how silly they may seem at first
8 - Cops who put their lives on the line because they truly believe in helping
9 - Cops who help people who are lost, have a flat tire, etc.
10 - Cops who use force only as a last resort, or because lives are in legitimate danger

I know there is a lot more to add, please help me do so.

Did Anybody Look Up...
