The highwaqy runs straight through "downtown" Pauls Valley,

Pauls Valley, despite its small population seems abundant in both dried patches of grass and huge, blue skies

wow. this is about as deadpan as they come. nice. "downtown" is hardly bustling. i cant wait til the residents of show up to tell us about how "great" their town is. heh...

Mike: 27th Sep 2006 - 06:25 GMT

I like how you didnt even actually go into town...at all. But stayed about 4 miles outside of town to take a picture of an old run down light factory and a warehouse and claim that those pictures are our "downtown". We actually have nice things in Pauls Valley..like running water, wagons that take our kids to school, and some police that protect us from the constant Indian attacks. Wait..thats probably what you think of PV. I'm not saying its the most exciting town in the world...but way to go portraying it how you wanted it to look.

meagan: 8th Jun 2007 - 23:04 GMT

WHAT?! thats just funny!...considering pauls valley is nothing at all like that. i think mike said it all.

John : 15th Jun 2007 - 03:48 GMT

Damn, Twister made Oklahoma seem much more exciting.

John : 15th Jun 2007 - 03:49 GMT

I am kind of let down. Well, I guess Hollywood make even barfing seem fun.

Race: 25th Jun 2007 - 21:30 GMT

Wow. Now this is ridiculous. I'm from Pauls Valley and I've never even seen this building in my entire life. The ignorance of this piece continues to astound me. This guy needs to work for Fox News.

This is a very sad commentary and certainly not factual. I no longer live in Pauls Valley but it is a beautiful place to raise children. The downtown is historic and very interesting. I am very disappointed in this information. Please, take the time and truly visit this beautiful community and the wonderful people who call it home. Ira

to everyone who is offended by this series of posts, i would say that to me they are more a commentary about how boring scott's trip was than the towns themselves.

Paul from Durant: 3rd Feb 2009 - 17:33 GMT

Whoever said that the highway photos are "downtown" was too lazy to actually see the downtown a few miles to the east. It really is interesting with historic buildings and brick streets.

Peter: 3rd Feb 2009 - 22:35 GMT

the threads on these "" posts are predictably turning out much like the top 15 skylines in the world thread, where its devolved into little more than partial locals throwing in their two-cents worth, angry that they were/werent included on some stranger's completely arbitrary list. seriously, people. its getting old. get over it.

as for scott, i think his posts were brilliant. time and time again, they had me reading about (and following) posts about places id have never otherwise heard of or cared about in the least. so in that regard, he did give your towns a lot of exposure. he also brought some really ugly americans out of the woodwork in the process, which is always interesting.

Dibblians: 24th Feb 2009 - 18:56 GMT

ok so im just saying thats so not down town pv ok thats on the raod u take into it ya'lls sum crazy pll
slap that shat in your face!

stormster: 15th Oct 2009 - 17:59 GMT

It seems that your visits to each town on your "most boring" list are ... not really accurate. Since I am familliar with some,(over half) I can tell you that the pictures he represents as "part of town" really arent at all. Do you even visit these towns? Or just fly by on the highway? You are a scam. Yet another know it all that does not know anything. How pathetic.

Katrina: 31st Oct 2009 - 08:25 GMT

This does not portray Pauls Valley at all. Pauls Valley is more interesting than this! lol
