Philadelphia 19144- Paper Cups

Philadelphia 19144- Paper cups, Sunday.

All my birthday party goods used to come from this store. It always seemed to rain on my birthday, so interior decorations were essential to keep the mood festive. I loved this store. I loved the squeak of the dusty hardwood floor and the dark aisles crammed with paper products and shiny rolls of metallic tape. Maybe some day I'll go back, stock up on pink cups, and party like it's 1989.

Aw, man, this time the second picture didn't upload. I keep messing this up. Oh well. It was a picture of the front, which looks less decrepit than this side angle.

Peter: 26th Mar 2003 - 23:08 GMT

the last photo had an apostrophe in the filename... due to the way this site/database is coded, the apostrophe sort of crashed things for a bit, so i had to remove the photo, as i couldnt get it to link up properly, nor change the name. oh well; no harm done though :)

do feel free to post it again if you like... just change the filename to something without spaces, apostrophes, slashes, etc... that makes it nice an universally compliant.

Mad Jane: 27th Mar 2003 - 14:29 GMT

Oh, I see. I forgot about the apostrophe.
Sorry you keep having to fix my posts. I'll get the hang of it eventually. :)

Peter: 27th Mar 2003 - 15:21 GMT

its really no problem; maintaining this site is sort of my geek-hobby. unfortunately, the way i made the submit code, apostrophes and spaces and slashes in filenames unintentionally crash the submit... and i dont know how to get around that, heh.

but do keep posting, as i said :D ill fix them if need be, no sweat.

Jamie: 4th Mar 2005 - 22:51 GMT

Umm... Who wrote the submit code? lol ;-)

Peter: 5th Mar 2005 - 20:39 GMT

check the date, bro- that version of the submit-code, where teh html spat back out, was made by yours truly :P

Jamie: 5th Mar 2005 - 21:05 GMT

Heh, my bad. Gotta give the peter man his props. He's kicked my wonky code into tip top condition.

Peter: :D
