[previous] :: [next]Profile view of everyone's favourite member of Fredericton Transit. This article has been viewed 1872 times in the last 2 years joey: 16th Jul 2006 - 17:06 GMTit's an antique. we had busses like that here, back in the 80's. did you know some municipalities buy their transit busses used from ebay listings? Chris Erb: 16th Jul 2006 - 17:16 GMTThis is the oldest style of busses in the cities fleet. Some new funding is being thrown at transit in Canada (this may change with our new Conservative government) so I imagine these busses are getting ready for the chopping block. It'll be a shame if we lose them because they're really neat busses. They're great inside because they have long cushy benches in the back half along the wall, they have a really neat sound to them (lots of power), and the city doesn't plaster those horrible billboards across the sides of them that obscure even the window. You can't meat the slanted windows and the long skinny one along the entire top either. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
