Peter: 12th Jul 2006 - 13:36 GMT

Chris Erb: it is... but not for long... 's scheme for the will change that fact :(

Chris Erb: 12th Jul 2006 - 14:36 GMT

Is Atlantic Yards actually going to happen? I thought there was such an outcry that it wasn't looking good. I only know a bit about the project.

Peter: 12th Jul 2006 - 14:43 GMT

oh, its happening, sadly enough, despite the immense outcry. the building (1, 2, 3) has already fallen to the wrecking-ball, as have many other historic buildings. more are set to go soon.

more here:

and: www.nolandgrab.org (which shows the above-mentioned building, btw)

Chris Erb: 12th Jul 2006 - 14:52 GMT
