Doesn't look like much was goin on on Canada Day in the capital.

Marlo: 29th Jul 2006 - 15:14 GMT

There was much more on the green. Tents, junk food, a few small amusement-park-like rides, bad music, hyperactive children, and many people decked out in white and red .
The fireworks that evening were nice.

Chris Erb: 29th Jul 2006 - 21:36 GMT

I didn't really go down on the Green until the fireworks. I was on the Northside visiting my girlfriend at work then came back over and bought a CD at Backstreet.

The fireworks wern't bad. Much better than last year since I had to watch them from the third floor of the Hart Shoe Factory.
