Gareth the Patriotic Car

Following England's crushing defeat in the , it's interesting to note how quickly and dramatically this new-found patriotism has abated. Gone are the car-mounted flags. Windows feel naked, stripped of their adornments of red and white. There's nothing great about britain. and that's what we forgot; for a couple of weeks at least.

i say 'we'; i mean 'they'. i am the biggest non-patriot EVAR

But i found this abandoned car in an industrial estate, we'll call him Gareth. He sits alone quietly, galantly mourning the defeat of his proud nation. Silently wiping the salty tears from his rusting wing with what is left of his tattered dreams;

and for that sir, i salute you

Nothing great abotu Britain?

lmao, how incredibly ignorant.

jamie: If by ignorant you mean 'accurate', then, yes.

kathy archbold: 19th May 2007 - 16:35 GMT

Hmm, that almost looks like a trabant - doesn't it?
I know what you mean Jamie, but there are far worse places to live - probably just none more expensive...
