what if they are real humans locked in a trance by some evil genius who has found a way to turn people into mannequins and the mannequined people can see and hear everything but they cant move or speak they just stand there screeming inside, they cant age and just think when they change the clothing on them the two of them can see each other partially naked and they want to hold each other but cant, they are mannequines by the way did i spell mannequine correctly?

jack with the sci-fi spin. i was thinking more along the lines of the eyeglasses billboard in f. scott fitzgerald's 'the great gatsby'. witnesses to life without emotion.

elaine thx, there was a movie of a mannequin on the 13th floor of a department store where every day a new mannequin would have the feedom to walk and talk like a human. this one mannequin forgot she was a mannequin and wanted to stay as a human. very good tv show.
