Balcony Love
[previous] :: [next]
it was a beautiful day. nicole was sitting on her balcony enjoying the view of the gulf of mexico. she was reading a series of selected poems by robert frost when her quiet time was rudely interrupted by the tall, handsome blond haired young man, bret. (author's note: they continue to talk that kind of simple small talk that two strangers talk when trying to hang on to a conservation of simple talk, got it?)
bret: my name is bret, what's your's? (authors note: a quick passing storm hits the beach and hotel. it is frightening as winds, thunder and lightening hit the area. nicole and bret are sitting at the sliding glass door by the balcony keeping company and bret talking about his college days. and yes, they go out for dinner with her family and they fall in love. and yes, i'm keeping one eye on the storm, one eye on them and the other eye on my pizza.) Have they married? Actually, don't bother to answer as I'll never see this site again once I click off. Anyway, good luck! Reed: 9th Sep 2012 - 11:17 GMT...of course sitting by a glass door in a tropical storm with high winds is pretty stupid. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
