Octopussing

I committed my first drive-by octopussing last week. It took a while to form the complex plan in my head, but once I did, I became driven to follow it through to its grim conclusion. My wife seemed to be aware that something was up, but she patiently waited for me to return to normal.

We drove around in search of a victim for a while. Due to the time being just before midnight, the residential sections of Lachine did not net any suitable victims, so I continued to search for prey in the back roads of Dorval.

Finally, after 40 minutes of searching, there he was, a tall young fellow in a grey T-shirt and jeans. The road was deserted, and the lighting was poor, the overgrown trees blocking most of what little light there was. I began the attack, coming up alongside him from behind, my window down in preparation. Closer, closer I came...

Finally the moment had come. As I passed directly next to him, I took a deep breath and yelled, "OCTOPUS!"

I looked in the rear-view mirror, and I could see from the look on my victim's face that the putrification of his brain was already well under way. He was in total shock, confusion taking control of his thought processes. My work was done.

As he grows older, he will forever be tainted now, since his mind will never be able to comprehend the eternal question. He will never rest again without wondering, "WHY?"

Many must wonder how I am able to sleep at night, but be warned:

Maybe I am not sleeping at all. Maybe I am pulling up alongside another victim as you read this.

Pleasant dreams...

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! READ ALL ABOUT IT! THE OCTOPUS ATTACKER STRIKES AGAIN! so, the evil gentleman has struck again. i'm putting out an all points bulletin to apprehend this elusive crinimal. watch out for him, he has been described to officers. why you crazy guy! but what i want to know, is there octobus in montreal?

EvilGentleman: 24th May 2006 - 13:26 GMT

Apparently, octopi are available at certain Asian restaurants and specialty seafood stores in our fine city, but not to the extent that they are in Detroit, where it was recently common for Red Wings hockey fans to throw octopi on the ice during playoff games, particularly after Detroit scores a goal.

I think this post proves that I am certifiably inane.

one time i was on holiday in spain and i was reading outside in the sun. my friend hazel came out to tell me how the food was going, and said 'i wouldn't eat any of that octopus if i was you'. i said 'why?' and looked up, and screamed my head off, she had put the suckers all up her arm.
believe me, it was creepy.

When i was in highschool, me and a couple friends were driving on the highway in a really bad rain storm. There was some poor guy walking down the road in the rain and wind and dark and just looked miserable. For some reason, my friend honked the horn at him (and he has a loud horn). I swear he must have jumped 2 metres! We all couldn't stop laughing but then started feeling really bad because we really really scared him and he would have been miserable enough in the rain as it was.

I wish we had have picked him up instead.
