Some overweight wrens.

Maybe your labours will throw up a worm or unearth some other morsel. elaine: 9th May 2006 - 08:20 GMTblackbirds like a bit of a sing. they go really high up to do it, i saw one the other day tweeting away like nobody's business. i have a pair that come to my windowledge to feed, which surprised me, because they are worm eaters. turns out they jump around on the ground to fake the feel of rain to make worms come up. must have been thin pickings worm wise, cos they've been up here scoffing sunflower seed hearts with the rest of them. Elicar: 10th May 2006 - 00:35 GMTCan they eat my neighbour's cats? The use my fowerbeds as their kitty litter. There is not but one but three of them. I don't want to end up in a post like this. I love cats, don't get me wrong. I use to have one, but they are not too nice to my plant-lings right now! elaine: 10th May 2006 - 08:44 GMTi don't think so. they don't even flock, and they are not all that big. plus, cats don't live underground, though it is true they don't like rain. but a blackbird doing his raindance is more likely to be the gobblee than the gobbler with a cat for breakfast. Michelle: 10th May 2006 - 22:53 GMTawesome blackbird pictures. makes me have a song running through my mind "blackbird singing in the dead of night...take those broken wings and learn to fly" Comment on this article..Browsing articles by Elicar - [previous] :: [next] |
