I really like the gables on this house and the positioning of the bottom two windows. Where is Repentigny?

EvilGentleman: 1st May 2006 - 04:06 GMT

Just north of the northern tip of Montreal Island, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.

Is it very much like this? If so, I imagine it's a very interesting and historic place.

EvilGentleman: 1st May 2006 - 04:16 GMT

It seems quite variable. Old buildings, new car dealerships, old 1960's malls, new malls, new apartment blocks, old wood-frame townhouses. It seemed like a decent enough place, but I was only there for 15 minutes at night. My wife and I just felt like going for a cruise in the car, so we drove around and wound up here for a bit. We actually drove from one end of the island to the other, and determined that it is 60 km by road from the extreme tip of Pointe-au-Trembles to the canal locks at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

I'm form repentigny, and yeah it can be a great place if you stay in the west side of the town. The east side is more like a big wal mart than a town: Artificial, ugly, pre maded house, snobs, fuckers, street gangs... But east can be nice to see if you stay on ''lassomption boulevard''; great old houses, old big threes, our great river. But you can find somethings like this in the west side. So if you visit repentigny stay in the great old school west side.
