also, i spotted this and found it similar to the parisian artist 'Space Invaders' pieces, does anyone know if they've even been here or if it's merely a copy?

according to space invader's website http://www.space-invaders.com/ he has done pieces in melbourne.

plas: 11th Apr 2007 - 02:18 GMT

Space invader has got (at least)
- 2 pieces on the Elizabeth Bridge (Arts Centre side, and a giant one near Riverside Bar)
- 1 above the Laundromat on Brunswick St
- 1 visible on the edge of a corner off Flinders ln between Swanston and Elizabeth (Flinders St side). I'm sure the Arts Centre side and Laundromat ones are originals, as their timing was right. Not sure about the others.

Taubs: 2nd May 2007 - 06:32 GMT

According to space invader's website there are 26 invaders in Melbourne, have seen about half a dozen

Greg: 17th May 2007 - 15:11 GMT

The top piece has also been done on a door near Prahran station, city bound side.

steph: 27th Feb 2008 - 08:42 GMT

does anyone know where all the 26 spaceinvaders are in melbourne??

Vicky: 19th Sep 2009 - 02:24 GMT
