...are within your reach when you are downtown.

This is the other side of what I call as the Flatiron Building on Front Street East.

Front Street East is the home to St. Lawrence Market //www.stlawrencemarket.com/ and the 2006 Toronto Buskerfest www.torontobuskerfest.com/.

Starting at Yonge, on the northside, is the EDS Building.

That's the Novotel and a rain cloud on the reflection.

On the same building is Biff's..Hmmm?

image 11360

On the south side is the Hummingbird Centre.

image 11362

Going further east is a park between Font Street and Wellington.

image 11364

It's a popular lunch area during the summer, but today, there is this only lonesome walker and her pooch, together with the pigeons.

image 11367

The end of this park on the east side is the flatiron building.

I have already posted a similar picture in 's Old Bank.

This is a flower cart at Dominion's.

And this THE St. Lawrence Market-South.

The murals on St' Lawrence North.

If you get a chance to tour the Flatiron Building (also known as the Gooderham building) during the upcoming "doors open", I would highly recommend it. That building still has it's original 1892 elevator (still works!).

Elicar: 26th Apr 2006 - 00:12 GMT

99, thank you! Yes, Andrea, it's is a painting. You gotta get out of Markham more! I have been in the building S. At the bar! ;)

Elicar: 26th Apr 2006 - 00:15 GMT

Oh..Thanks Barry! Toronto is a really nice place to be. It has almost everything that NYC has to offer, but much, much smaller.

You should come and visit sometimes. ;)

I had plans to go up to Lake Ontario this year to do a spot of fishing. I,ll have to take a long weekend of work soon as I would like to go for salmon before sping is over also get a look around an get some Maple syrup. ;)

Elicar: 27th Apr 2006 - 01:48 GMT

I hope you won't eat what you catch! The cleanliness of the water of Lake Ontario is a high suspect.

jeeff: 27th Apr 2006 - 01:54 GMT

yeah you might catch a dead body or two if you fish from the spadina wharf.

sarah 4 sep 2006 05:04: 4th Sep 2006 - 07:06 GMT
