Easter in Roncesvalles
[previous] :: [next]On Saturday I went to Roncesvalles with my boyfriend and his mother to celebrate the BLESSING OF THE BASKETS, which is a Polish Easter tradition. Basically you fill your basket with good foods Line up inside the hall of St. Casimir's Church And wait for the priest to come and flick holy water onto the baskets and the crowd Once the baskets have been 'blessed' you are all done, and just have to dodge the Pope statue on your way home.
