A stranger in a strange land... don't wake up yet..

joey: 16th Apr 2006 - 18:05 GMT

what are the possibilities at the other end of the tracks?

The grass is always greener on the other side
So away to far-away lands shall you roam
But no matter how far you may ride
Will there ever be a place like home

Elicar: 16th Apr 2006 - 23:22 GMT

I have "ran" away, EvilG. Although I go home (take note I still call home) every two years for at least a month, it is always nice to come home (Toronto is my home now!)

Will I go home again to stay? I used to say in my retirement, but I am starting to have second thoughts. Although that's where I grew up and where most of my family and friends are, the lifestyle is so different that I will have culture shock if I take off my visitor's hat.

Home is where the heart is. Currently, it is Toronto.

I used to wonder why I never would see any examples of the rail car type in the fourth picture loaded with cargo--only empty.

But we all have. This type of car is used to carry things like lumber, so that it doesn't just slide off at corners.

Can't remember the name for this. Center Rail something or ...?
