I saw some ostriches at one of those safari-type drive through zoos just off the south side of I-70 in Missouri once. The place was so run down, I felt really sorry for the animals. I think the reason they come to the car for food, is because they are starved on purpose.

I ate an ostrich burger the other day. it wasn't fully cooked and i didn't enjoy it.

ps. the ostrich lays the largest egg of any land animal (the volume 24 chicken eggs) but paradoxically the smallest in relation to it's physical stature. Also the eggs taste almost exactly like a chicken egg.
