Rough Arrest

i'm beginning to think citynoise needs to compile photos and make a book, ya know? like a coffee table book of urban life.

any idea why this guy was arrested?

good idea about the book....as far as the arrest - i really have no idea why it went down. it was a st.mike's security guard who detained the man, he was later joined by another guard. The guy gettign busted seemed really helpless and frail and i didn't necessarily think he had to be treated that roughly, but then again i dont' know the circumstances and i'm sure if i had that job i wouldn't take chances either..I was across the street when i heard a bit of a commotion and quickly moved over to see what was going on. the guy was looking at me when i was shooting and his eyes seemed to say 'help me'.

Did they throw him down on his own pee trickle? That would be a harsh reason to get thrown down on the street and manhandled.

i was just wondering why there seems to be a lot discussion regarding my pics of a young black kid getting roughed up/arrested, and no one seems to mind about the old white man. just wondering.
