Calm Before the Storm (a Blog)

Alright....March 30th....(I've posted pictures before, but I thought since almost everybody posts pictures, I'd post a blog. Hope it doesn't bore anybody. Some of you could probably relate. Enjoy! Don't worry, if you don't read through it, I won't hold it against you, lol)

I had such a good day. I woke up this morning with roughly around, I don't know, 5-6 hours of sleep, yet I felt awake. I managed to go to the gym again today. (Mind you, I woke up at 11am, so it's not that early, but that also mean I didn't sleep until around 5am or 6am). Nonetheless, I made it to the gym. On the drive to the gym from my house, I can't help smiling at how nice the weather was! I just wore a t-shirt and my yoga pants! I got to the gym, changed my shoes only to take it off again for the Yoga-lates class I usually go to every thursday. I was fine with that. I was also happy with the fact that my feet did not stink! (New socks..I know..stinky feet..eew..but hey! it's the gym! I don't need to smell like roses if I'm just gonna end up drenched in sweat anyway)

The class was great. It never seizes to amaze me how flexible my body is (like flexible in my head, which is not that flexible, but I can twist my body pretty well). I also had a really good shower after that class, which was great. I was done at around 1pm, and I didn't have class till 4:30. So i took the time to fix myself: lip gloss, mascara, hair stuff...yeah that's about it! lol..I know..very minimal considering some people spend half an hour on hair alone. So afterwards, realizing I had a lot of time in my hands, I decided to go grab food at markville mall.

I ended up shopping as soon as I got there. I thought: " hm...I have 3 hours to kill, why don't I walk around and see what I can buy for the summer" (I was inspired by the weather, wearing a t-shirt and jeans). I visited some old friends at the Gap..good to see people, then went shopping. I had the pleasure of bumping into my monkeybutt Erin (lol) and went on my way. Bought 2 tops (they looked incredibly hot on me thank goodness) and a couple of cheap accessories (that were so nice). After I paid, I looked at the receipt to find out that one of the price was different on the receipt than it was on the tag. Let's just say I saved $5.00. Did I mention that I had a good day today? lol

So I got my garden salad, and drove to the corner where I park my car to walk to the bus. I didn't go directly to the bus stop. I decided to just sit in the passenger seat, music blaring, door open, wind blowing and happily eating my salad. I dropped some veg on my shirt, but I didn't care (that's just the essence of me: klutz).

Got on the bus, listened to music, went to my tutorial. It was way too hot, so I went to get a small Ice Capp from Timmies (that made me very happy..I always get it with chocolate milk). It was the last tutorial, and I will miss it so much. I had a great time with the people there and I learned a lot. That last class was just full of laughs and I realized that I knew a lot about the material than I thought I would. (Did I mention that I had a great day today? Well I'm just reminding all of you lol)

After class, I went with 3 of the guys from the class (Tyler, Alex & Adrian) to Blueberry Hill (a food place on campus) and had 2 pitchers of beers and a big order of friends with gravy (Thanx Adrian and Tyler) and we got to know each other and just talked about nonsense. (Wednesday night salsa night baby!!) At the end of the drinks we sat outside to finish everything off (I had around 3 cups full [2pints maybe?] and smoked [i know it's bad..I don't do it often]). Then we went our separate ways. Took a nap on the bus (nothing new really, lol)

I picked up my sister from work and went home.

When I got home, I had the pleasure of talking to Franz (my kuya, my best friend in the whole world) and just updated him on what's going on with my life and just talked like how we talked in the old days (he lives in vancouver now so I hardly talk to him, or at least not as much as we used to, and I also havn't seen him since last summer :( ).

So now it's 12:35am. Did I mention I HAD a great day? Yes I did, and notice that's it's past tense. Now i'm slowly getting stressed because I havn't studied for any of my 4 exams. I have 1 in 11 hours and 25 minutes, 1 on monday, 1 on tuesday, and 1 next saturday. I'm working this coming weekend, splits shifts on both days which means I don't have much time to study for my exams on monday and tuesday. Which means cramming. So it's a good thing I had a great day today, COZ I'M GONNA BE FRIGGIN STRESSED OUT FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK!

hence: Calm Before the Storm...BRING IT ON!!!
