Oh, but one!
Bloor Station This article has been viewed 2077 times in the last 3 years
chiamattt: 30th Mar 2006 - 01:18 GMTAhhhh Kipling station...the station in the middle of nothing very useful. When I see pictures of Toronto's pathetic subway system a single tear runs down my cheek. Any big city that does not have a train or subway connecting the downtown with an airport does not deserve the distinction of being "world class". chiamattt: 30th Mar 2006 - 01:20 GMTI used to grab the 45 Kipling or ##? Martingrove bus home from Kipling Station when I was in High School. I got a lot of reading done on that daily journey...that is for damn sure. jeeff: 30th Mar 2006 - 01:40 GMTdude they're building a subway line out to york u. hell hath frozen over. Elicar: 30th Mar 2006 - 02:01 GMTI'll pay the flat rate airport limo fare rather than grabbing the train. Especially from Seoul? Whooo...that's at least 13 hours to O'Hare? Then from O'Hare to Pearson? I will be in no mood to jostle in a train. Perhaps, you should convince the very "sweet" Hazel to work with David for an airport connection. I did identify the station. It's Bloor. jack: 30th Mar 2006 - 03:14 GMTno graf and very clean. thx for pic's i love subways. reminds me of 30 years of commuting. chiamattt: 30th Mar 2006 - 04:02 GMTThe more cities I see the less I miss Toronto. Living in Etobicoke doesn't help much either I guess. There are things about Toronto I miss, but for the most part...I just don't like the gritty attitude of most North American places. This isn't to say that I think Seoul is the best city. I am pretty much done with this place as well. Tired of it. Perhaps that is how I will live for the next decade. Jumping from city to city. I'll retire in Canada...but I can't say it will be in Toronto. Elicar: 30th Mar 2006 - 04:25 GMTI know someone in Seoul. He is in the animation business. He used to work in Manila. Came back home to Canada; had a hard time starting over and accepted an offer in Seoul. We all have stories to tell about our experiences. Sometimes, when a place is not too kind.... spygirl_t: 31st Mar 2006 - 00:18 GMTIf you think TO has clean subways, you should see the one in Kolkata. It's the cleanest part of the city.. and a cultural shock of it's own. Especially if you been travelling India for a few months and you foget what clean really means. Don't get me wrong .. I love the ancestral homeland. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
