holy smokes. we just saw the same flying fish kite here on the beach in carlsbad, ca.

Those bring me back! There's an annual kite festival at the park near my house and I used to run over to my friend's apartment and we'd watch from her balcony...until I got old enough to bike to the park with friends and we'd all stand there staring up at the kites and completely mesmerized by all the colour. Come to think of it...that was last year! I love kites.
