elaine: 20th Mar 2006 - 12:00 GMTand me. i have a massive fear of motorbikes. and i am a total back seat driver in cars as well. i was explaining to the rickshaw guy that i wasn't just picking on him, but was a generalistic feardie, and he told me that there is a drug that comes upon you at a certain time in life, or leaves you, like maybe a hormone or something, which actively stops you doing things that are viscerally scary likeskateboarding which has the purpose of protecting you. this made me feel a bit better about what i am like. people can be so nice sometimes. Peter: 20th Mar 2006 - 15:49 GMT...seeing the way the helmet is just sitting there... empty... gives me the chills. EvilGentleman: 21st Mar 2006 - 03:09 GMTThank god it is empty. It would be so much worse if it was full. Peter: 21st Mar 2006 - 14:53 GMTyeah, i mean, i just hope it managed to stay on the driver's head through the impact, that is! torontofreelance: 24th Mar 2006 - 00:56 GMTSadly, the driver died. He hit a slow moving transport at 100 miles per hour. The truck was doing about 20. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
