oh yeah, well how do they know how long you will live, eh, how will they know? if anyone out there in citynoise land knows of a person who has the movie,"late for dinner" please let me know if they are willing to sell it to me.

EvilGentleman: 24th Feb 2006 - 19:01 GMT

This reminds me of Monty Python's "Dead Parrot" skit, where the parrot is guaranteed for life, but since it is dead, the guarentee is now expired.

Plot Summary for
Late for Dinner (1991)

Two young men, one in need of medical attention, are cryogenically frozen in the early 1960s. The two are preoccupied with the fact that the police are pursuing them to realise what they are doing. The next thing they know is that they are in a strange new world (thirty years on).

my hats off to you joey, you are king of trivia. i always liked that movie but you can't find it in a store and it has been discontinued. but good job anyway.
and to evilgentleman (i should call you good guy) (or snow walker) i've never seen that monte skit, but i did like their skit where they are feeding a fat man and they give him one more bite to eat and he explodes all over the restaurant and everyone gets sick from the sight of his open cavity and the blood and guts and they all start puking all over the place. i had it taped but my wife refused to keep it in the house, said it was too disgusting, but me and my two sons loved it.

joey: 24th Feb 2006 - 21:10 GMT

jack. you should check amazon.com. they have used copies available for $2.99

EvilGentleman: 24th Feb 2006 - 21:34 GMT

Late For Dinner reminds me in turn of:
The Final Countdown (1980)
The USS Nimitz emerges from a strange storm to find itself back in time in 1941, hours before Pearl Harbor. www.imdb.com/title/tt0080736/
Tomcats and Zeros, what could be more fun?

jack: 24th Feb 2006 - 23:03 GMT

that was another good movie. do you realize that one of our nuclear aircraft carriers could have ended the war within 2 years.
