This is one of my fav buildings in Wellington. The buses run on electricity...hence the wires.

GGP: neato! that building looks like a slice of cake!

EvilGentleman: 22nd Feb 2006 - 00:35 GMT

Those facades must look awesome in a sunrise/sunset situation

colavito's ghost: 22nd Feb 2006 - 02:50 GMT

ummmm, this is embarassing, but I'm just gonna ask: Where is Wellington?

Elicar: 22nd Feb 2006 - 03:13 GMT

Yeah, where is this Wellington? Initially, I thought it would be this building between Front Street E and Wellington E in Toronto, only to discover that they are totally different when I looked at the photo in my archives. What a strange coincidence though. Both in Wellington and both shaped like a flatiron as some of us Torontonians call this building!

jeeff: wellington's in new zealand

Elicar: 22nd Feb 2006 - 03:35 GMT

But jeeff, there's also a Wellington, England. Although the sky appears to be bright fro England (sorry guys!) the architecture makes me think that this is Wellington, England.

look at the cars, there on the wrong side of the street, but then again the british like things their way much like the americans.

the overhead wires that power the busses are called . the part of the / that makes contact with those wires is called a . i dont know why i know this, but those are two tidbits of the massive amount of trivial information that fills my head, ha.

jamie: 25th Feb 2006 - 15:37 GMT

doens't look like england. where in englad is there a wellington anyway? i'm not disputing that their is but i for one have never heard of such a place. I wager there may well be several small towns and villages named 'wellington' perhaps. but i doubt that this photo is any of them. i'm off to have a butchers at google earth

buddhavegas: 22nd Sep 2006 - 04:23 GMT

Its Wellington New Zealand, I live within walking distance of the place.
