since toronto is posting like crazy i figured why not post a bunch of mediocre batch of photos from los angeles..?
exactly!
after it rained the other day i noticed that the clouds were looking pretty amazing so i decided to try and capture the feel.
for those of you who have never been here, people in la have no idea how to drive in the rain (or in general).. and it only gets worse because the roads are that much slippier cuz it never rains here. i think when it rained a month or 2 ago i heard there like 85 reported crashes on the highways in a 5 hour period.

i was in la a couple of xmases ago and we had an open topped hire car. there had been a bit of rain, and we were just about to go a road trip up the coast. because of the rain there were rock falls onto the road. we had to pull over sometimes to wait for them. this wouldn't happen in the uk, it's amazing to me that you can't buy a fish to eat with bones in it in case you sue cos you don't know how to eat it, yet rocks can fall on your car. extraordinary!

I loved the little birds in the airport! I guess they figured it was a good place to come in for a landing.

nah.. i think the birds are just lazy like everyone in los angeles and would prefer to take an airplane rather than fly themselves :)
i heard about those rock fallings.. so far i havent seen many race riots or mud slides or you know.. all the things la is known for

i liked the pelicans. they are like pteredactylls, and driving along in an open topped car they really give you the eyeball.
also i like the crab chowder. and the sourdough.
