Sunset Over the St. Lawrence River
Browsing articles by Evilgentleman - [previous] :: [next]I was busy running errands yesterday afternoon when I realized that the sun was setting, and there was some thin high cloud in the area. I figured that the sunset had a high chance of looking spectacular, so my wife and I put our errands on hold for an hour or so, and we went and parked at the park at the bottom of 53rd Ave in Lachine, and waited for the sunset to begin. This is some of what I saw:
My wife leaning on a tree
The silhouette here is some anonymous person walking his dog.
My wife tossing pebbles into the water, Inuit-style. (They try to throw the rock so it descends almost 100% vertically, so as to make as little splash as possible.)
I have no idea what kind of birds these are.
There were a lot of airliners on approach to the airport.
