Isn't 420 W Alabama actually renovation of an old building, "The Executive" ?

Great shot btw. I'll post one of the view from my desk tomorrow, which is straight up Fannin from the Med Ctr.

Actually, I was just told by my friend that it's 230 and not 420... but yes, it's the old Executive House Apartments and they are nice now! Granite countertops in all apartments, big tall ceilings, amenities out the wazoo, stainless steel fridges, black electric cooktop stoves, nice floor tiles and wood floors. Actually they have a website now: http://www.230westalabama.com/

That's nice. We're considering moving over there, to the Parc IV condo complex on Montrose @ Alabama. Maybe I'll consider this building as well.

Houston is a great place to live and be I have relitives there and i might someday live there myself BUT New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco have a slight edge over it.
