There's a fantastic paste-up on the light box at the Richmond/Montrose (or maybe Alabama) intersection. I would have got it if I'd had my camera today.

the peace symbol, it was called "chicken footprints" in the 60's. the best peace symbol is the olive branch. or rather the best peace cymbol is a well trained and equipped armed forces. thats the real sence of peace, because it was all the young men and women in the armed forces that keep aggressors back. of course, food and clothing would win over a lot of people, but the leaders of some of these nations are interested in their own power. a good movie is the, 'constant gardner'.

i can't help it every time i see that symbol i think of war and killing. i see and hear images of protest and screaming. i see children dying and starving. i hate war.
