Bluffers Park

One of the most breathtaking views of the Bluffs can be seen at Bluffers Park, at the foot of Brimley Road. Extensive picnic areas are available, along with spacious beaches, two boat launching ramps, day mooring docks and a five star restaurant. There are also provate yacht clubs, with more than 750 slips and a proposed marina that could add another 400 spots.

Scarborough Bluffs

The Scarborough Bluffs are a vast and stunning visual record of the ice age that shaped the geography of Canada. The Bluffs stretch 15 kilometres along our shoreline and rise 64 meters above Lake Ontario offering stunning views and a great natural wonder!

I used to live in Scarborough, then Ajax. I remember going down to the bluffs one evening about 20 years ago and taking pics of a lunar eclipse. It seems like forever since I've thought of that evening. Thanks for bringing back that memory!!!

Pfred: 9th Feb 2006 - 14:53 GMT

If I lived in Toronto I'd climb to the top of those cliffs and hurl myself off.

Stranger: 15th Feb 2006 - 03:12 GMT

Yeah, it's a nice view... but how many people realize that Brimley Road (the road which leads into the bluffs) was actually a landfill site years ago. You would never know that now because of all the trees that have grown.
