actually, thats something i love about san fransisco, that you CAN see those everyday. i come from minneapolis where our old streetcars were brutally destroyed way before i was born (i actually think sf has one), and we're just making up for it with a lightrail, so street cars are always so great to see. i'm always going to remember hoping on the market street and van ness street car and going down to north beach at christmas time with my family. it still seems like magic.
