The flashing lights are a warning for the "Nine O'Clock Gun" on the walkway in Stanley Park. The lilypads, which I've never seen before, are from Beaver Lake in the middle of the park.

Forgotten Memorial


Immediately following WW1, trees were planted along to memorialize the locals who died in in the war. Bronze plaques were placed at the base of each tree, with the particular name of a fallen fighter... But then the trees died...
