Well, there goes another day, muscle atrophy and all. We just are not designed to sit in a chair all day long, shoulders slumped over, eyes strained by too much fluorescent lighting. Mental faculties deadened by too much repetitive work. Creativity does not exist here, it does not fit within the whole scheme. It's tiresome these eight hour journeys I embark on. It's time for a new journey to begin, I'm searching for a new journey to embark on...one of these days it's going to happen!

To make the most of my day I must accomplish as much both before and after work as I can. To me, my current job is nothing more than a bothersome blur somewhere in the middle, albeit a necessary bothersome blur.

This year's salary freeze has
all the employees on their knees,
the incentive plan no more than
a sham, it's all to look good,

but they'll take away more than you
make in a day, just make a mistake,
and you'll see what kind of game
they're playing, see how much later
you'll be staying, after your shift
is up, still slumped over the desk
with the chair under yer butt.

No overtime pay with the expectation
you stay, that's just how I love to end
my day!
