whoa! this is very reminiscent of a scary scene with HAL in 2001: A Space Odyssey!
great shot, tho.

I don't know how well it shows up on other monitors, but it looks very ghostly and ominous on mine. And I'm talking about New Jersey, ha ha. Not really, I like the mainland.

i once had a party at chealsea piers. they have an ice rink indoors and tables on the veranda with an open bar and a big bbq. it was a special occasion, all my childerens friends came and had a grand old time.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 20th Jan 2006 - 18:39 GMT

I was at my companys holiday party (in january, I know). I had to dance to 'Dancing Queen" but drew the line at 'It's Raining Men.' Back in the day, I would have taken full advantage of the open bar then attempted to take advantage of some inappropriate man. My chat up line, (attributed to my dad): "Stick with me, and you'll fart through silk."

jack: 23rd Jan 2006 - 22:21 GMT

catherine, thats a great line. whatever happened to, 'say, have'nt i seen you somewhere before"

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 23rd Jan 2006 - 22:50 GMT

I don't know Jack. Maybe the romance died the same day the music did....sigh...

elaine: 24th Jan 2006 - 09:36 GMT

i discovered a great chat up line one day when i had arrived where i was sneakily parking near work, and a big boxer dog came over and said hello to me as i opened my door.
"hello! you are a big handsome boy, aren't you?" i said in my best blue peter/julie andrews generic enthusiastic lady voice, and he wagged his little stumpy tail enthusiastically and drooled.
hey, i thought, i wonder if this will work on men?
and, do you know, gentle reader, it does!

jack: my wife used it on me 37 years ago!

elaine: see? i rest my case
