european cars, as a whole, look alot cooler than american cars.

jethro: 17th Jan 2006 - 06:32 GMT

i think it's the setting. put a euro car on an american city street and it fits right in.

elaine: 17th Jan 2006 - 09:46 GMT

our cars are generally a lot smaller than american cars, and the styling is different. i stayed with a friend in LA and her car was the equivalent model to something i was familiar with, but it was more boxy, and different in subtle ways. i would have liked a good side by side comparison

Jamie: 17th Jan 2006 - 09:53 GMT

i do miss ekn. your photos of main street remind me of the cafe i used to frequent. the golden arrow. they did a kickass curry burger.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 17th Jan 2006 - 15:35 GMT

What is the top building/castle?
Curry burger...oh, how I want one of those...it sounds magical and perfect.

Jamie: 17th Jan 2006 - 15:47 GMT

that's enniskillen castle that is. i've been there i have

elaine: 17th Jan 2006 - 16:08 GMT

you'll not be happy til you fall off, you
(overheard by my friend nic, being said to a small boy on a wall)

barry: 18th Jan 2006 - 00:11 GMT

I was just coming out off the Golden arrow #6.I had the sausage, curry, chip.

jamie: 18th Jan 2006 - 09:52 GMT

they do the best curry ever. though i'm talking curry in a chipshop sense

Nic: 18th Jan 2006 - 12:05 GMT

te - you'll not be happy til you fall off, you! was in fact a mothers response in a manchester park to her toddlers proud claim:
" I can walk on this wall me!"
"You'll not be happy til you fall off you!"
And became a motto for life

jack: 20th Jan 2006 - 17:45 GMT

i walked on thin walls with ice and fell off a few times but i got back up there.

jim: 2nd Aug 2006 - 13:06 GMT

i see enniskillen traffic problems have got worse lol thought i was looking at a photo of a carpark and then realised it was a photo of the "hollow" (blakes bar and all). ah well its a sign of the times i suppose.

Danny Cassidy: 5th Nov 2006 - 15:19 GMT

Enniskillen looks like a great place. does anyone know Colm? he is a legend who works for GE Money in Leeds. He would be upset with all the traffic, people should ride bikes.

Roy Carrol : I know Colm, he lives near the castle!

pauline curran: 20th May 2007 - 22:17 GMT

Brutalism

This 70's house block is what I look at now when I work (yeah I know at least I have a window.) I didn't know it was a "style" of architecture. Brutalist architecture en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brutalism I just thought they were dated.
