a slim girl in dance and a fat guy drinks a diet soda,
a shadow as skinny as he and a phone in disorder.
pushing a child past photos of ghosts,
a man in a dress with a coffee to toast,
and a musseled dog on a leash cant stand the pink store,
'cause prayers are unanswered no postulants to bore.
and a lady's glove in pink
wont step on the crack
to the cobblestoned floor.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 12th Jan 2006 - 14:59 GMT

The first picture is exquisite. The man's body echoes the dancer perfectly. Such street elegance. And the coffee-drinking kilt-wearer is a treat, too. Hool, I want to be your aprentice.

jack: cathy, two p's.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 12th Jan 2006 - 15:48 GMT

You know, I even ran it through spellcheck, dammit. I hate Word.
Cat or Catherine, please. Cathy is the name of a floozy barmaid on EastEnders. It gives me the willies.

jack: 13th Jan 2006 - 20:17 GMT

no you are a catherine. i can tell by your hyphened name . its so business. it sounds like a corporation or a printing company. im catherine of the penfold-waxman's. is cathy really a floozy? lets get a photo of her and have a contest to see who thinks she is a floozy. by the way, i kinda like floozys. they want something from you so they sweet talk you like hookers. its almost like flirtation.

jack: or am i completely wet on this.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 13th Jan 2006 - 20:29 GMT

Actually, most people call me Cat. My family call me Kate or Katie.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 13th Jan 2006 - 20:53 GMT

Poor Kathy, I forgot about her trials and tribulations on EastEnders. And thinking about it, she wasn't a floosy. But I stand by the fact I don't like the name.

monks: 10th Feb 2006 - 03:06 GMT

actually there is a Cat on EE now (well now was in the year old episodes we get in Canada), her name is Cat Slater, was once impregnated by her uncle as a teen and she really is a floozy pintpuller-dresses like an 80s prostitute with absolute shitloads of makeup, she just married the idiot whos managing the queen vic and they work together behind the bar

Borders Part I

These are some images taken with my camcorder back in 1999 during our trip throughout eastern North America. Most of these images were shot by my wife, unless otherwise noted, as I was driving. We tried to make a point...
