hello train,
why hello tree, how are you today,
ok im ok i guess. lost all my leaves.
i see that tree, but dont worry, you will get new leaves soon.
yes, soon. then you can pass under and i can cool you off in my shade.
i can hardly wait. you know you can help the humans also!
why i never thought of that, shade for humans.
yes, then elaine can come over and take another photo of her legs.
elaine, yes elaine, do you think she'll let peter take her picture?
i dont think so, she is quite the lady these days.
perhaps she will let catherine do the photo.
nah, catherine is stuck somewhere between the chrysler building and empire state. but she made a trip on the ferry to staten island.
staten island?
yes, remember when they discovered it, they were sitting on the shore in brooklyn and the surveyor asked his recorder what island that was over there, and the recorder said,"is that an island" and the surveyor said thats it, staten island.
oh, i like that story train, come back and we can talk tomorrow.
ok, bye.

Excellent picute. I lived right next door from the station at 604 Park place for the first 8 years of my life in Brooklyn. That was from 1962 til 1970. Awesome memories of playing ball in the back yard, the clubhouse built by some of my friends in the building.

Esther Herschman (Rechtschafner): 2nd Nov 2008 - 16:20 GMT

I remember some kind of a chicken farm near the station. Do any of you? Thie was in the 1950's and erly 1960's.

Hey hadamsky, did you ever live at 1010 President St. near the corner of Franklin and were you in the Boy Scouts Troop 560?

Mary Lannon: 24th May 2009 - 15:12 GMT

Hello Hadamsky. I lived at 588 Park Place until 1957 when my parents moved us to New Orleans, La. Did you know Mary Jane Flood she was my best friend.

Esther (Herschman) Rechtschafner: 23rd Jun 2009 - 14:43 GMT

Chips for Lunch

for lunch today. The attention of the was being monopolized by a group of small children on the other side of the river. There were no hungry ducks making sweet love in the bushes this afternoon. Too busy...
