jack: 7th Jan 2006 - 22:59 GMToh peter, you have brought us the saddest of photos. the home of people, where children played and lovers walked hand in hand. where mothers prepared the dinner table for their husbands and families. the majestic and regal building that once stood tall and was home to humans. ended. why? is the desire for money so strong that we would destroy that which has value to people? was it hatred or revenge? the beauty of architecture. the ugliness of hatred. or was it a hopeless accident? it looks like a first floor fire so perhaps it will be repaired. yes it will be. GGP: 8th Jan 2006 - 00:02 GMTi used to live on park place, off vand. Rich: 9th Dec 2008 - 23:40 GMTThis multi-family dwelling looks like it's near to Washington Ave on the same side as the old police station, where they filmed parts of Eddie Murphy's "Vampire in Brooklyn". I used to live on Classon btwn Park & Prospect, I saw a couple of incidents on this block and I knew the people that owned the deli near the corner of Classon, don't know if it's still there.
