Proper Snow

I took photos out my window after the first snowfall of winter 2005/2006, but in the days following it snowed properly. There's nothing nicer than nice thick cotton wool , and however old you get. However grown-up you unwittingly become. However much responsibility might weigh you down and make snow somewhat of an inconvenience, there's always that residual child inside that whispers - however softly - "yay! snow!"

sno snow here

jack: 1st Jan 2006 - 17:55 GMT

the whiteness of a newly fallen snow covers the dirt and grime of a city or town. its pure and we love the purity of freshness. its refreshing and unpollutes the air. we love the thoughts of childhood and a new snow. playing, being carefree and giggly. as adults we remember those days as the good old days of our youth, when we had no responsibilities only doing our homework and playing until it was time to eat.

wow, i cant get over those tile-roofed brick buildings. so old, so pretty...

Jamie: 2nd Jan 2006 - 14:27 GMT

There's a thatch roofed building in the middle of town. I bet you'd like that wouldn't ya. And i'm no expert on such matters but i reckon it'd be like 17th century or something. I think it's a pub but my mind's gone blank
