a few years ago i used to dislike them, but then i had a change of heart.

ps. i bet the sidewalks aren't so empty today. i bet there are some crazy photo opportunities during the transit strike in new york

I made an attempt to go to work, but took one look at the backed-up traffic and hundreds of people walking toward the 59th street bridge and turned back. If I can avoid walking 4 miles in subzero weather, I will. Luckily, I can telecommute, so I'm at home working and listening to the cat snore.

Pigeons didn't bother me until I saw a dead one on a tram line with a crowd of pigeons around it, one of which was humping the corpse. No, I did not take a photo.

jack: actually that was pidgeon recusitation.
