I'll take the one named 'Abby Normal.'

elaine: 19th Dec 2005 - 22:44 GMT

o my god you have TOTALLY freaked me out now. last night i was imagining my brain was a coral reef, it is connected to a breathing meditation where i imagine my nostril hairs are seaweed, and it was only a short hop to brain = coral.

Jamie: 20th Dec 2005 - 08:55 GMT

if ($nostril["hair"] == "seaweed")

elaine: 20th Dec 2005 - 11:42 GMT

i have had perpsyckich connections with you before in the minor league, but this one takes the (sea) biscuit

GGP: that's a great visualization, elaine.

elaine: 20th Dec 2005 - 14:52 GMT

it's a bit of a cheat. that bit about the nostril hair is supposed to be just paying attention to the breath at the nose while you breathe in and out, but i suddenly got seaweed, and now i always do it.
don't get me started on visualisation - i am a visual cortex trunk road where these things are concerned. but it did freak me when i hadn't told anyone about the coral thing until yesterday, it having happened really recently, and i came home to this photo. spooky dooky

jack: 21st Dec 2005 - 15:34 GMT

elaine, if a bird that flies over the sea is called a seagull, what do you call a bird that flies over the bay?

elaine: beigal, natch

jack: 21st Dec 2005 - 23:27 GMT

i bet you like the raisin type bagels. i like the salt ones.

elaine: 22nd Dec 2005 - 08:53 GMT
