#2 may actually be Kyoto. Not every slide is labeled, so I have to interpolate sometimes. Sometimes they are actually labeled incorrectly :)

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 15th Dec 2005 - 22:41 GMT

I wonder why it's only guys playing pachinko?

jeeff: 15th Dec 2005 - 23:24 GMT

i don't know about back then, but plenty of women play pachinko now. i think in the intervening time, a lot more women have entered the workforce in japan and gained enough disposable income and the freedom to spend it on pachinko.

ian: My favorite thing is the parquet floors.

elaine: 18th Dec 2005 - 10:02 GMT

I live in Tokyo and am obsessed with the size, variation and complexity of the city. I have seen pretty much everything you guys have photographed with my own eyes. Still, everytime I look at Ian and Jeeffs pictures it I notice something new or different it always blows me away. Fantastic!

cnt: It's not Nara, it's Kiyomizu-dera temple in Kyoto.

ian: 13th Feb 2006 - 09:17 GMT

cnt, thanks. I think some of the photos may be incorrectly labeled. I've been going back and correcting them.

Peter: 27th Mar 2008 - 17:06 GMT
