Staying up all night
cus i don't have much of a choice

My Friday and Saturday nights are usualy spent at my girlfriend's place. But not tonight. For reasons i won't bore you with, tonight i'm at home. Home with the many decibels of irish country music permeating my walls from the bar next door. all night long. it stops eventually, punctuated by animalistic screams and raised voices. arguments. fights. noisy intercourse.

Tonight, from what i can gather the main event is drugs related. One of the men is a dealer, another i'm assuming is his father or some such male relative. A guttural bellowing holler, an indistiguinsable onslaught of expletives. Women voices, raised like a gaggle of geese. Some crying, some huddled next to my car.

Tomorrow i will wake up to a carpet of broken glass which i must duly sweep away from the escape path of my 1995 Ford Fiesta to avoid more costly punctures. Also i have noticed a wad of human hair by my door, though this is undoubtedly from Kolor-n-Kutz Hair Salon which has recently opened up shop below my flat.

Tonight i won't sleep. I will replace this sleep with approximately 200mg of caffeine in tablet form and take it from there. Night!
